FUNDING THE LA OLYMPIC DREAM
Current Priority!
Funding a trip to LA this July.
Racing in LA in July is my current priority for three reasons:
There are two major regattas which will allow me to continue racing at the very top level in preparation for the World Championships this year
LA is the venue for the 2028 Olympic Games and any time in venue is valuable knowledge
All training partners will be based in LA during this time
WHAT HELP DO I NEED?
Financial (flights, boat charter, accommodation, hire car etc. is almost £6,000)
In kind (air miles, connections in LA, inside knowledge)

Asking for support is actually really hard. Living in elite sport is both a privilege and a struggle and therefore any help is always gratefully received! It makes a huge difference.

EVERY OTHER YEAR I NEED A NEW BOAT TO ENSURE I’M USING THE VERY BEST EQUIPMENT

Every training camp, international competition etc requires me to book accommodation suitable for training and racing at the best possible level.

Each season I require 6 new sails to remain fast and accurate

Each regatta and training camp varies in price, but travel usually ranges between £100 - £1,000 in airfares between the 12 camps a year
